Hitmen Poker 16th Annual Christmas Tournament

​

When: Saturday December 13th, 2025

 

Time: Noon until about 11pm. Doors open at 11am - COME HUNGRY!! You will be fed lunch and supper.

 

Cost#1

  • $130. Breakdown as follows; 

  • $25 for food

  • $10 bounty

  • $5 Multi-Life 1 prize pool

  • $5 Multi-Life  2 prize pool

  • $5 Multi-Life 3 prize pool

  • $5 Multi-Life 4 prize pool

  • $5 Kill Shot - For those that haven't played in the league, if the river card on the championship winning hand is the one you drew, you win the entire pot (which could be $140)

  • $70 to Main Event Pool.
     

Cost#2 (Rules regarding prepayment)

  • This only guarantees a seat for you for the purposes of no show. 

  • You are not entered into the tournament until you sit at the table. Your seat is reserved only.

  • You will have 1sb and 1bb removed per orbit from your stack and the mini-game until the end of the 2nd round. If you are not at the table for the mini games by the end of the 2nd round, your stacks will be removed and you would receive a zero for your bonus for that game.

  • You have until the end of round 4 of the main game to show up. If you do not, you forfeit entrance fee and food fee.

  • If you need to excuse yourself from the tournament, you will receive a full refund if it happens before Dec 1st.

  • If you need to excuse yourself after Dec 1st, you will receive a refund less food cost.

  • If anyone cancels on Dec 12th or Dec 13th, there will be no refund. It is too late to ask someone to fill your spot.

 

What: Multi-Life (4 Games of Hold'em, 2.5k chips per game) + Main Event (30K+bonuses and Bounties). 1 Insurance Chip that can only be used in the first 4 rounds of the main game. Insurance is for your 30K only. If you bust out in the first 4 rounds, use your insurance to get 30K and back in the game. No addons or rebuys. Chris J will Co-Direct the tournament to help me manage this event. If he needs to make a rules based decision, his word is final. He is well versed in Hitmen Poker rules, and any rulings or questions can be answered by Chris or myself.

* - Early chip bonus breakdown; 

1) Must pay by before Nov 1st (11:59pm Oct 31st) and receive a maximum bonus. (Bonus - 5000+2500)

2) Must pay by before Nov 15th (11:59pm Nov 15th), to receive (Bonus - 2500).

3) Must pay before Nov 30th (11:59pm Nov 30th) to be eligible to play. <-- Changed July 14th

Maximum early chip bonus is 7500 if you confirm & pay before Nov 1st. <-- Changed July 14th

What: (Mini C.H.O.P Tournaments (MCT))

  • 4 Games, 2.5k chips per game

  • Play 4 rounds of 12 minutes. 25/25 - 25/50 - 50/100 - 100/200.

  • Each round will be different from the last. Game 1 CHOP, Game 2 HOPC, Game 3 OPCH, Game 4 - PCHO

  • Play 4 games (Using 4 different sets of poker chips, cards, and buttons - Pharaoh, Horseshoe Cincinnati, Nevada Jacks and PCF tournament).

  • 3 guest sets can be used to sub out Horseshoe and Nevada Jacks. (Chris, Mike, Tony, Paolo, Berny, or anyone I missed). <-- Chris has offered a set for 2025. <-- Paolo has offered a set for 2025

  • There will be no table breakdowns. We are playing Texas Shoot Out.

  • If you get knocked out, just wait until the 2nd / 3rd / 4th game to begin. 

  • If you do not play any of the MCT, or if you get knocked out you will receive the same amount of bonus chips as the lowest chip count. Add up chips from all 4 games and add that total to your Main Tournament total. 

  • The maximum carry-over to the main event is 30,000 chips.

  • Seats will be redrawn for each game.

  • There will be 4 tables. Each table will be assigned a chip set. Each chip set is different. There will be groups of 3 players that will sit with each other throughout the mini-tournaments. Each group will be able to sit at each table, and play will all other groups.

What: (Main Event)

Main Event (30K+bonuses and Bounties). Free 30k insurance rebuy until the end of round 4.

There is no add-on.

After the 4th round the rebuy chips are dead.

House Rules:

  1. A max. of 30k in chips from the Mini Games is allowed to be carried over to the Main Game. 

  2. You do not need to show up right on time to be able to play. You have until 5:20pm to show up.

  3. You may leave the Main Game at any time. You have 30 minutes to return or your stack will be removed.

  4. Min raises are double the last bet.

  5. NO RABBIT HUNTING ALLOWED

  6. For colour ups. There will be no racing. Chips not stacked out front will be removed from play.

  7. Showing cards, whether intentionally or not, kills that hand. 

  8. Tables will combine at 24 then 18 players, and then again at 9.

  9. Hitmen Poker Rules are in effect. Please read them at www.hitmen.poker/rules

  10. You must be at the tables by the end of the 6th round of Game 4 to play. No refund will be given.

  11. This is a MARIJUANA FREE EVENT. Edibles and drinks are more than welcome. The smell will not be tolerated.

The menu will be finalized in November.
On the menu we will have;

Chili for both hot dogs (no beans) and to have as a bowl (with beans)

Hot Dogs - Both Veggie and Regular

Coffee with Milk, Cream, and Sugar

Sodas - Coke, Coke Zero, Pepsi, Sprite

Water

Chips - Variety pack

Cookies - Costco cookies

Candies - Mini Chocolate Bars

Pizza from Papa Leo's (It worked out very well in 2024, so we will do this again)

All day: Cookies, Candies, Hot Dogs and Chili
